So far, this one is one of my favorite video game related album and definetely my favorite one Megaman related. All the songs were made on the same chipset that they used to create the original tracks for the old megaman games!
Every track was made by another artist, so around 20 persons (or even more!) worked on this cd, and thats also why there is such variety in each of the songs even though they used the same chipset.
Everytime when I listen to this album I've got the feeling that the possibilities of chiptune music is unlimited - I always get inspiration by it to create my own music.
So, about the variety - every track has his own style, and even though all the tracks are by default chiptune, theyre mixed with other styles, like there are some songs inspired by Drum and Bass, Hardcore or Dub and you can clearly hear it. Even though of such a variety, the transitions are nicely done and everything sounds beautifuly together.

I reccomend this album to :
Everyone, and especially to people that like chiptune. Everyone can listen to it because of how its not entirely chiptune and not entirely some other genre, it's an album where everyone will find something that they'll like.
9/10

Hey mates!
My name is Van and this is the first time I'm trying to lead a blog seriously, I hope you will enjoy yourself everytime you visit my blog : )
The blog will be about video game music, my reviews, information about them and where to buy some of them. I'm a big fan of oldschool, arcade and consoles games, so most of my posts will be for people that enjoy the same things. I don't have a concrete music genre I like, I like almost all them, they just need to be good ; ) I'm not sure about how often I will post some content, but I'll try to do a post at least once a week. Also pardon me if some posts wont be about soundtracks from video games, maybe i'll feel like adding something about my personal life here, hehe.
See ya around !
